Rejection feeling
The person that suffers rejection
feels that others reject him. He feels
no matters how hard he tries with
others, he is still rejected. He sees
no good in his personality. He tries
to prove himself by every means. He
could suffer rejection because of one
or many reasons.
The symptoms of rejection are: it is
hard for the person to feel the love
of or the act of love of anyone for he
does not see himself worthy of
appreciation. He does not see in
himself anything good. He may end up
in isolation away from others.
Miserable is the person who suffers
rejection feelings. Without a doubt
this rejection will reflect on his
relationship with God. He will think
that Jesus Christ reject him and will
not approve of his behaviour, will not
approve of his faithfulness, and He
will not approve of his obedience to
the Bible.
The person who has rejection feeling
will not believe that our Lord Jesus
loves him, and loves him unto death.
He can not believe he could come to
Jesus without a mediator. He must have
a mediator for God will accept the
mediator and will reject him. This
is a wrong feeling for Jesus said “and
the one who comes to Me I will by no
means cast out.” {Jo6: 37} He can not
believe that he can come to the throne
of God in Jesus name only but he must
come in the name of another person
better than himself. For he believe
that God will not pay attention to his
prayers but he will hear the prayers
of a better person. This person lose
sight of something very important and
that is his relationship with God the
Father and also that is he is accepted
in Christ Jesus before the throne of
God. He will not believe that Jesus
Christ paid the highest price in the
whole creation for him.
The
epistle to Ephesians
If you
are one of the people who suffers from
rejection I advised you to read the
epistle of Ephesians. The words in
this epistle will be healing to your
spirit, soul and body. In this
epistle the apostle Paul speaks about
our place as believers in Christ Jesus
and the privilege we have in Him. When
you read this epistle pray that the
Holy Spirit reveals to you to what is
your place in Christ Jesus.
Some of the healing verses
I will
list some of the verses from the
epistle
“having
predestined us to adoption as sons by
Jesus Christ to Himself, according to
the good pleasure of His will,”
{Eph1:5} you are the child of God
through the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ paid the price for you to
become the child of God, He paid the
price through His blood. I pray that
you can comprehend this joyful truth.
Beloved: everyone of us received this
adoption through Jesus Christ, why?
For this is to the good pleasure of
His will, why? Because Jesus loves you
very much. I pray that you believe
that God is truthful in all what He
said in the Bible. “and raised us up
together, and made us sit together in
the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”
{Eph2:6} please read this verse again
to understand that when the Holy
Spirit raised Jesus Christ, we are
also raised with Him. Paul mentioned
this truth another time in Romans “
Or do you not know that as many of us
as were baptized into Christ Jesus
were baptized into His death?
Therefore we were buried with Him
through baptism into death, that just
as Christ was raised from the dead by
the glory of the Father, even so we
also should walk in newness of life”.
{Ro6:3,4} Every person was baptized
with water and Holy Spirit, and was
buried in baptism and has the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit, as
Christ was raised from death by the
glory of the Father, so the Spirit
that raised Jesus from death will
raise our dead bodies, with the Holy
Spirit that abides in us {Ro8:11}
Please believe that you have a new
life after baptism with water and the
Holy Spirit. Some may ask why I do not
experience this new life? Because you
have no faith in the redemption work
of Christ in your life that he died
for your sake and paid the price of
your sins with His blood. Unless you
have faith in that, you will not
experience the new life. All you have
to do is repent of your sins and offer
a true repentance from your heart and
believe that He died in your place and
you will live in this new life. All
you have to do is to take a firm
decision to live for Jesus. Do not
live part of your life for yourself
and part for Jesus. Jesus Has to be
the savior and the Lord, He is the
master of every part of your life.
Enough carelessness in our spiritual
life. “For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good
works, which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them.”
{Eph2:10} you are the workmanship of
God He Has created you for good deeds.
If your life full of misery, be assure
that this is not the will of God for
you. There may be something in your
life is displeasing to God, for your
lack of knowledge of the word of God
“My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge” {Ho4:6} or you do not obey
a commandment knowingly and purposely
that is why you have difficulty in
your life. You are created in Christ
Jesus for good deeds which God
prepared beforehand that you should
walk in them. “But now in Christ Jesus
you who once were far off have been
brought near by the blood of Christ.”
{Eph2:13} our Lord Jesus shed His
blood so you become close to God’s
heart. God wants you to come to Him
that you may enjoy the warmth of His
love and compassion. “and to make all
see what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of
the ages has been hidden in God who
created all things through Jesus
Christ;” {Eph3:9} you have a
fellowship from the beginning of the
ages in Christ Jesus. Everyone of us
is in the heart and mind of God. There
is no place of rejection after these
facts. “Grace be with all those who
love our Lord Jesus Christ in
sincerity. Amen.” {Eph6:24} if you
love Jesus sincerely the grace of God
will be with you all the times. If you
really love Jesus Christ there is no
place for rejection. “Blessed be the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly
places in Christ,” {Eph1:3} everyone
who believes in the salvation of Jesus
and obey the commandment will be
blessed with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places in Christ. Any
one tries to convince you otherwise is
lying.
You are
greatly loved and blessed in Jesus
christ.
Worshiping God in the flesh or in the Spirit
Those
who suffer from rejection feel they
have to please God by whatever it
takes and specially the works of the
flesh. Do not try to please God with
the works of the flesh only. God
created you to bless you and you to
bless Him. God loves you and gave you
His salvation free through His grace
“For by grace you have been saved
through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God,
not of works, lest anyone should
boast.” {Eph2:8,9} What is the
difference between worshiping God
through the flesh and worshiping God
through the Spirit in the life of
someone who suffer from rejection?
Worshiping God in the flesh: when the
person tries to please God through the
flesh for he thinks that God does no
love him. He thinks that when he puts
his flesh through pain then God will
be pleased with him. But worshiping
God through the Spirit is totally
different than worshiping God in the
flesh. The Holy Spirit will be the
Guidant and the one who nourishes the
person in his relationship with God.
You do the good because you can not
accept to do the wrong for you are a
new creation in Christ Jesus, you can
not plan for the wrong. I do not
cancel the chance of the wrong in the
life of God’s child but I cancel that
the true Christian plans for a sin
without the convection of the Holy
Spirit. The Christian person, if Satan
tries to tempt him with a sinful
thought the Holy Spirit that dwells in
him will convict him immediately and
he will not be able to do the wrong. I
want to clear this point: that as
God’s children we have to regard for
good things in the sight of all men
“Have regard for good things in the
sight of all men.” {Ro12:17}
I will give some example, I say some and not all
1-A
person tries to fast all the fasting
and at the same time he or she commits
all kind of sins such as: cursing,
lying (by the way there are no white
lie and black lie. They are all black
and that will prevent you from going
to heaven), anger, twisting the
facts, not praying when you are
fasting. Fasting with fervent prayer
are great power but fasting alone is
useless. But worshiping God in the
Spirit together with fasting will make
you live heaven on earth. Your fasting
will be with fervent prayers and full
of the Spirit guidance. You will be
fasting and praying for a certain
purpose. You will dedicate a good part
of your day for reading the Bible as
well as praying to our Lord Jesus. I
can assure you that you will not be
able to sin easily. And if you sin,
the Holy Spirit will convict you
quickly and you will repent and then
you will walk carefully after that.
2- A
person tries to attend every service
in the church, not because he enjoys
the services but he believes that by
doing so he will please God. This is
true if he does all these because his
heart is longing to be with God and
not to please God by whatever it takes
because God does not love him. But
worshiping God in the Spirit, you will
go to the church to meet with the King
of Kings and the Lord of Lords. You
will go to meet with the host of
saints and to be partaker of the Body
and the Blood of Jesus and to become a
member of the His church.
3-
kneeling one or two hundred times so
God will be pleased with you. Beloved
God will be pleased with a repented
heart “So rend your heart, and not
your garments; Return to the LORD your
God, For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.”
{Jo2:13} God wants your repented
heart. But when you worship God in the
Spirit you will worship the Lord in
spirit and truth, you will not sin
intentionally and purposely.
One of
the most danger effects of rejection
feeling is to feel that you are
unworthy to come to God without
mediator. You feel you have to have
someone to mediate between God and
yourself, someone who is more
righteous than you or an angel.
The question I want to ask, can we come to God without mediator ?
“For
there is one God and one Mediator
between God and men, the Man Christ
Jesus,” {1Ti2:5}we have to come to God
with a mediator, only one mediator and
He is Jesus Christ. Jesus the man and
Jesus the incarnate son of God. He
gave himself up as a sacrifice for
everyone of us so we can have eternal
life through faith in Him as a savior
and redeemer for our sins.
One of
the most deceiving believes nowadays
is that we must have a mediator to be
able to submit our prayers to the
heavenly father. It means that Jesus
as a mediator is not enough or it
means that we are not worthy to come
to the heavenly throne with Jesus.
This wrong believe cancels the love of
the heavenly father and cancels His
justice that no one can be justified
except by the perfect sacrifice of
Jesus on the cross. With this
sacrifice he meets God’s justice.
There are no holy person or an arch
angel can offer a prayers to satisfy
God’ justice. There are no verses in
the New Testament, after Jesus
crucifixion, speaks of anyone being a
mediator between us and the heavenly
father. Some may mention some verses
that may hint a mediator but nothing
after the cross. But after the cross
Jesus is the only mediator. Once more
“For there is one God and one Mediator
between God and men, the Man Christ
Jesus,” {1Ti2:5} He is the Man and He
is God. No matter the status of a man,
he is still a man and not God. And no
matter the rank of an angel, he is
still an angel and not God. “ But
now He has obtained a more excellent
ministry, inasmuch as He is also
Mediator of a better covenant, which
was established on better promises.”
{Heb 8:6} Jesus Christ is a mediator
of a better covenant and He obtained a
more excellent ministry. It is clear
that He is the mediator. “And for this
reason He is the Mediator of the new
covenant, by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions under
the first covenant, that those who are
called may receive the promise of the
eternal inheritance.” {Heb 9:15} Jesus
Christ is the mediator of the New
Testament so those who are called may
receive the promise of the eternal
inheritance.
“to
Jesus the Mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling that speaks better things
than that of Abel.” {Heb12: 24} if we
have promises in the Bible like these
about Jesus’ meditation for us, we
have no place for rejection feelings
and the wrong teaching we have now.
