Evil spirits and curses (8)
Before
you read this article please pray
that you may understand what you
read, because you will know from
this article that there are evil
spirits and their purpose is to
confuse the human being about the
truth of the Bible. If you do not
know the truth of the Bible, the
evil one would ensnare you, thus he
will do what ever he wants with you.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit
guides you.
No
Christian can live a life of victory
and peaceful life without knowing
well the scheme of the evil spirits
in the life of man. As we will
explain the world of the evil
spirits you
will know that they have a
big role in the lives of every human
being as the angels of the Lord
encompass around who fear Him and
deliver them, so there are also evil
spirits to harm us.
The
world of evil spirits
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord and in the power of His
might. Put on the whole armor of
God, that
you may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil.
For we do not
wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the
heavenly places. Therefore
take up the whole armor of
God, that
you may be able to withstand in the
evil day, and having done all, to
stand.” {Eph 6:10-13}.
From
these verses we understand the
followings:
1.
Satan has
wiles
2. We
wrestle not against flesh and blood
3. We
wrestle with
a.
Principalities
b.
Powers
c.
Rulers of the darkness of this
age
d.
Spiritual hosts of in the
wickedness heavenly places
We
will explain every point of the
above, but in this article we will
explain that Satan has wiles.
Satan has wiles
The
Bible is full of Satan
wiles,
the first mention of this in the new
testament was when Satan tempted
Jesus in the wilderness. The gospel
of Mathew and Luke chapter 4,
mentioned to us that when Jesus was
finally hungry, “And the devil said
to Him, "If You are the Son of God,
command this stone to become bread"
It is reasonable request for any
person who is hungry. The
devil always ask
reasonable requests that goes with
the person’s needs. For examples
Satan will ask you to keep the money
of the tithe because you need them
or to give them to your family
because they need them until you
reach the point of saying my needs
is more important than the needs of
the poor.
Look
how Jesus answers Satan “But Jesus
answered him, saying, "It is
written, ‘Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word of
God.’" Jesus answered by it is
written, that is why I advise
everyone to read the Bible daily for
when you read the Bible you will
know what the word of God says about
everything then Satan can not
convince you with anything contrary
to the Bible. You will know the
wiles, schemes and devices of Satan
“lest Satan should take advantage of
us; for we are not ignorant of his
devices.” {2Co2: 11} you will learn
from the Bible and with the guidance
of the Holy
Spirit what to do in every
situation. You will learn if your
pastor doing the right thing or not.
You will know if he following the
leading of the Holy Spirit or not.
Unfortunately there are non
spiritual pastors. We have spiritual
leaders also.
I will
not speak about the obvious wiles of
Satan but I will speak of
non obvious
wiles of Satan
1.
one of Satan wiles, that he changes
himself into
an angel of light
“For
such are false apostles, deceitful
workers, transforming themselves
into apostles of
Christ. And no wonder! For
Satan himself transforms himself
into an angel of light Therefore it
is no great thing if his ministers
also transform themselves into
ministers of righteousness, whose
end will be according to their
works”{2Co11:13-15} From these
verses it is clear to us that we
should not fully trust every person
claims to be the servant of Jesus.
From my counseling I heard horrible
problems which made me cautious with
every person no matter who he is. I
heard about Satan who changes
himself to an angel of light and
convince some that they are in God’s
presence.
True
Story: I had this person who came to
me and told me that when he reads in
a book for the early fathers of the
church, and when he prays he enters
into the presence of God, and he can
not study for several hours. I said
to him I will pray about it, I did
pray an ordinary prayer, but the
problem with this young man
continued. One day he said to me the
same thing, I can not study when I
enter into the presence of God. I
asked him if he can enter into the
presence of God at anytime, he said
yes I can do. I said to him you pray
and I will pray, then I prayed the
special prayer to cast out evil
spirits. After five minutes I asked
him: did you manage to enter into
the presence of God? He said no I
could not. What affected this young
man was an evil spirit changing
himself like an angel of light, and
when I prayed the special prayer to
cast out evil spirits, the evil
spirit was cast out and did not come
back.
Satan
change himself like an angel of
light when he appears as a saint to
some people. I do not deny the
appearance of saints to some with
the purpose of comforting them or
encouraging them to live with Jesus
Christ. But there
are some
appearance which is caused by Satan
to confuse the simple believers. The
question we must ask ourselves is:
how can I discern between the
appearance of the saints and the
appearance of Satan as angel of
light? The answer is very simple, if
this appearance is drawing you to
know Jesus Christ intimately and to
study the Bible deeper, then this is
a true appearance of the saint and
God has allowed. But if this
appearance astonishes you and does
not draw you closer to Jesus Christ
and does not make you read the
Bible, and how many they are, then
this appearance is cause by Satan to
confuse us and set us apart from
knowing the God of the truth, Jesus
Christ. “ ….Test
all thing” { 1
Th 5:21}
2.
From
Satan wiles, that he give us
semi-truth teaching.
How
many are the teaching which present
semi-truth which we see, hear and
read about now. There are churches
from different denomination that we
hear about from the internet or on
TV or local churches. These churches
teach semi-truth. If you are not
well founded in the Bible you will
not recognize the semi-truth
teaching, but you would think it is
the truth. The apostle Paul says
“Preach the word! Be ready in season
and out of season. Convince, rebuke,
exhort, with all longsuffering and
teaching. For the time will come
when they will not endure sound
doctrine, but according to their own
desires, because they have itching
ears, they will heap up for
themselves teachers; and they will
turn their ears away from the truth,
and be turned aside to fables”.
{2Ti 4:2-4}.
I can say that these verses apply to
our modern time. Sometimes I find
myself in state of shock from some
of the teaching I hear,
It has no
relation to the word of God. I
always advise every person who seeks
advise
from any servant, to ask him this
question: where can I find it in the
Bible? If you do this you will do
yourself and the savant a favor. You
do yourself a favor for you will
know that it is in the
Bible,
and a favor for the servant because
you will challenge him to know his
Bible. If the servant can not give
you a reference then do not listen
to him. I have this to say, not
every book about the father of the
church is sound theologically and
biblically,
specially the books that were
written after the Islamic invasion
in 620 AD. I did a search on the
commemoration of the saints and
found that the last of the fathers
died year 539 AD. The saying of the
fathers up to the end of 6th
century, you can read with
confidence. Anyone reads a spiritual
book must compare it to the bible.
The young man mentioned above was
reading a book for one of the
fathers who came after the 6th
centaury which made me doubt the
truth in this book. I asked the
young man to bring me the book,
after reading it I found a lot of
contradiction to the Bible. I
believe reading these type of books
made him a target for Satan.
3.
One of Satan wiles, is giving
advise
through others that is semi-true
Satan
is very clever that he gives us
advise
semi-true and the advise he give
looks 100% right. One of these
advises is: better to be oppressed
than to be the oppressor. I wrote
few articles about this topic. I
proved from the bible that this
saying is wrong and the right thing
is: do not oppress others and do not
be oppressed. For God does not
accept the oppression of His
children at all.
One
other advise
that is semi-true is: this problem
is your cross that God gave you and
you have to carry it. This is a big
mistake because God does not give
anyone a cross to carry. The Bible
did not mention that God give cross
to anyone, but it mentioned the
following verse “"And he who does
not take his cross and follow after
Me is not
worthy of Me. He who finds his life
will lose it, and he who loses his
life for My sake will find it”.{Mat
10:38-39} Here Jesus Christ speaks
of the importance for everyone of us
to die to this world in order to
gain the life with Jesus Christ.
This comment, it is your cross, we
hear from the fathers of confession
because they do not know how to
solve problem so it is easier for
them to convince people to accept
oppression and humiliation in their
lives than the father of confession
tries to solve the problem.
One of
Satan wiles, that the religious
people repeat this famous saying
that the son of obedience will be
blessed. The first time I heard this
was from a priest in America, I
disagreed with him about something
that was not in line with the Bible.
He said to me listen to me because
the son of obedience will be
blessed. I said to him, what you are
saying is not true because the Bible
says such and such. After I went
back home I asked my Lord in prayer
and said how come your word said
that we should obey God more than
people, and how come your word say
at the same time that the son of
obedience will be blessed. I
searched the Bible and found no
verse at all that says the son of
obedience will be blessed. If I did
not know the word of God well enough
I would have been fooled by this
saying. Once more the priests try to
control their congregation by
teaching them principle contrary to
the Bible.
